3D printer and bag tags

In room12 we have been designing bag tags.We are using a 3D printer to make our bag tags.
We had to think about keeping our designs simple, small and special to us. We pencilled our designs and then took a picture to send to the 3D printer.

Here are some of the finished ones.

My grenade

Yesterday my nana and grandad got me a ww1 grenade. The type is a mills bomb used by the British army and was the first  grenade to have the grooves on the steal case.On the top half of the grenade there is a small hole where the gunpowder would have been loaded in.On bottom half there is a bigger hole where the shrapnel was loaded both holes where blocked up with a plug that was screwed on.Mills bomb used the grooves so it had weak spots to blow up more Easley.

book week

This week we had some teachers to come round and read us a couple of stories and well today we will be going to are buddies  classroom to make book marks on Friday we will be dressed up as a character from a book.Today we  had  Constable Greer come and read to us. It was really good our fave book was 'We are going on a bear hunt' because it had really good quality and good pictures in it that stood out. On Monday we had a teacher come over and read to us. On Tuesday we could go to the hall and if you had books you would take  them to the hall and you could swap them for other books. For the dress-up day tomorrow Hala will be dressing up as a witch from Harry Potter and Mercedes will be dressing up as Minnie Mouse. We swapped classes and did a reading activities with some other classes on Wednesday. We think Book Week is amazing and fantastic.
